Day rates do not include an engineer.

Reimbursements are offered for recording costs for music incurred in Iceland. Producers can apply for reimbursement from the State Treasury of 25% of the costs incurred in the recording of music in Iceland. See more at Record in Iceland.

Our house engineers are amazing and range from 55.000 ISK to 75.000 ISK. per day, they work as an independant contractors.
We highly recommend hiring them for your session.

We also have a list of approved guest engineers that have worked at Sundlaugin Studio.
If you choose to bring in your own engineer, you are required to hire one of our assistant engineers. The fee is 30.000 ISK/10 hour day.
